Smart Home Appliance Policy

Thank you for choosing Smart Home Appliance for your appliance repair needs. To ensure clarity and fairness, please review our service policy below:

By requesting or approving service, you agree to the following terms.

Diagnostic Fee

Every service visit includes a diagnostic fee to inspect and identify the problem with your appliance.

  • The diagnostic fee is non-refundable and not disputable.
  • If you approve the repair, the diagnostic fee will be applied toward the total cost of the job.

Parts Policy

  • All special-order and installed parts are final sale.
  • If a customer approves a repair job but then cancels, a 20% restocking fee will apply to the parts cost.
  • Parts are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty only. Labor to replace a warranted part is covered under our service warranty period.

Refunds & Cancellations

  • Refund requests must be made by phone call to our office number +1(415)-877-3277.
  • Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days.
  • If a customer approves a repair job but then cancels, a 20% restocking fee will apply to the parts cost.

Warranty

  • All labor performed by Smart Home Appliance is covered by a 90-day warranty from the date of service.
  • All labor performed by Smart Home Appliance is covered by a 365-day warranty from the date of service.
  • The warranty applies only to the specific repair performed and does not cover different problems that may occur on the same appliance.
  • Warranty is void if the appliance is misused, damaged by others, or serviced by another company after our repair.

Payment Policy

  • After approval of the repair job, a deposit for parts is required to proceed.
  • The remaining balance is due after the job is completed.
  • Accepted payment methods: cash, debit, credit card, or other approved methods.

Liability

  • The company is not responsible for pre-existing appliance conditions or damage unrelated to the repair.
  • The company is not liable for loss of food, time, or other damages caused by appliance failure.
  • Smart Home Appliance carries a Certificate of Liability Insurance (COI) covering general liability for all services performed. A copy of the COI is available upon request.
