By using the Site or requesting/approving services, you agree to these Terms.

By requesting or approving service, you agree to the following terms.

SMS Consent Communication:

The information (Phone Numbers) obtained as part of the SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

1. Services

We provide home services such as appliance repair, diagnostics, maintenance, and related services (the "Services"). Availability may vary by location, technician schedule, parts availability, and other operational factors.

2. Requests, Scheduling, and Estimates

  • When you submit a request through the Site (including quote forms, service request forms, or appointment scheduling), you authorize us to contact you to confirm details and schedule service.
  • Any price ranges shown online or communicated before inspection are estimates only. Final pricing may change after diagnosis, parts verification, and confirmation of scope.

3. Diagnostic Fee

Each service visit includes a diagnostic inspection fee to identify the cause of the issue ("Diagnostic Fee").

  • The Diagnostic Fee is non-refundable once the diagnostic/visit is performed.
  • If you approve a repair, the Diagnostic Fee may be applied toward the total repair cost (if your Service Policy says so).

4. Parts Policy

Parts and part-related fees are governed by our Service Policy, including (where applicable):

  • Special-order and installed parts may be final sale.
  • If a customer approves a repair that requires parts and then cancels after parts are ordered, a restocking fee may apply.
  • Parts are typically covered by the manufacturer’s warranty only; labor coverage, if any, is set out in our Service Policy.

5. Consent to Communications (Phone Calls & Emails)

By providing your contact information and submitting forms on
our Site (including service requests and appointment scheduling),
you agree that Smart Home Appliance may contact you via phone
call or email regarding:

  • Appointment confirmations and reminders
  • Technician dispatch and ETA updates
  • Service updates and follow-ups
  • Invoices, receipts, and payment-related notices
  • Customer support

You understand that communications may be sent using automated
technology where permitted by law.

Phone and email contact does not require SMS consent. SMS/text
messaging is governed separately under Section 6 below.

6. SMS/Text Messaging Terms (A2P / Carrier-Compliant)

SMS messaging is strictly optional and requires your separate,
explicit consent. Submitting a form on our Site does not
automatically enroll you in SMS communications.

A. How to Opt In

You may opt in to receive SMS messages from Smart Home
Appliance through any of the following methods:

  1. Website Form — Complete our service request or appointment
    form at smarthome-appliance.com and select the optional
    SMS consent checkbox. The checkbox is not pre-selected.
    Submitting the form without checking the box does not
    enroll you in SMS.

  2. CRM Intake Form — When our team creates a service record
    on your behalf, you may be presented with an SMS consent
    option. Consent is never assumed — you must explicitly
    agree before any SMS messages are sent.

  3. Direct Text Opt-In — Text START to +1 (415)-877-3277
    from your mobile device. You will receive an immediate
    confirmation message once enrolled.

B. What You Will Receive

If you opt in, SMS messages may include:

Transactional/Service Messages:

  • Appointment confirmations and reminders
  • Technician dispatch and ETA notifications
  • Service status updates and completion notices
  • Invoices, receipts, and payment notifications
  • Customer support responses

Promotional Messages:

  • Offers, discounts, and service promotions
  • Sent only to users who have separately and explicitly
    consented to promotional SMS communications

C. Consent

By opting in, you confirm that you are the mobile account
holder or have authorization to consent for the number
provided. You agree to receive recurring automated SMS
messages from Smart Home Appliance. Consent to receive
SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any service.

D. Message Frequency & Rates

Message frequency varies based on your service activity
and preferences. Message and data rates may apply depending
on your mobile carrier and plan.

E. Opt-Out

Reply STOP to any message at any time to unsubscribe.
You will receive one final confirmation message and no
further SMS messages will be sent. To re-enroll, text
START to +1 (415)-877-3277.

G. Carrier Disclaimer

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered
messages. Smart Home Appliance is not liable for delays
or failures in SMS delivery caused by factors outside
our control.

H. Privacy

We do not sell, rent, or share consumer mobile phone
numbers for marketing or promotional purposes. Your mobile
number is shared only with our SMS delivery provider
(Twilio) solely for message delivery. See our full Privacy

complete details on how we handle your data.

7. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy at: https://www.smarthome-appliance.com/privacy-policy. By using our Site/Services, you acknowledge and agree to the Privacy Policy.

8. Service Policy Incorporated by Reference

Our Service Policy (diagnostic fees, parts, cancellations, refunds, warranty, payment, and liability terms) is incorporated into these Terms by reference and applies to all service visits and repairs.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the Site for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes

  • attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
  • upload malware or abusive content

10. Intellectual Property

All Site content, logos, text, images, and materials are owned by the Company or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them without written permission.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
  • Our total liability for any claim related to the Site or Services will not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so these may not apply to you.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Site, violation of these Terms, or violation of any law or third-party rights.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective Date" will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the Site or Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
